Country Swing Competition!
Country Renegades is hosting a FREE country swing competition at The Jump on Saturday, August 23rd at 6pm.
This is an All-American Jack & Jill competition which means any skill level can compete and each dancer will be paired with RANDOM PARTNERS! Each dancer will be judged individually until the final round - then each pair will be judged as a partnership!
1st place will win $100 cash and a gift card to The Jump!
COMPETITION DETAILS:
5:30pm - 6:15pm: Check-In
6:15pm: Competition Rules Meeting (mandatory for competitors)
6:30pm: Competition Start
7:30pm: Announce Winners
IF YOU ARE NOT HERE FOR CHECK IN OR THE COMPETITION MEETING, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE.
SIGN UP CLOSES AT 6PM ON AUGUST 23RD. CHECK-IN CLOSES AT 6:15PM.
Each dancer will be judged on the following: Timing, Technique, Teamwork, Content, Showmanship

Country Swing Dance Workshop
Country Renegades is excited to host Andrew Allred & Kathryn Gamble for our next country swing dance workshop!
Andrew & Kathryn are from SLC, Utah and have been dancing country swing for about 4 years. They are owners of the Beehive State Country Swing Circuit, hosting competitions across the state of Utah, and they travel throughout Utah each week to teach country swing classes and help their dance community grow!
This weekend’s workshop will include lessons on musicality vs. lyricality, tethered movements, connection, styling, and more! Each workshop is $10 per person and no partner is required to attend!
